Common questions

Classroomscreen is free. Why pay for Classroom Hub?

If a board is all you need, do not — use Classroomscreen, it is very good. Classroom Hub is worth paying for when you want the board connected to everything else: the exit ticket that marks itself into the gradebook, the points that build towards a reward, the class dashboard that runs your morning. That connection is the product, not the widgets.

Does Classroom Hub have a noise meter and a timer?

Classroom Screen has a timer, and there is a free noise meter, name picker, group maker and more on our free tools pages, which need no account either. Classroomscreen still has more widgets than we do, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise.

Can I use both?

Plenty of teachers do, and it is a perfectly sensible setup. Use Classroomscreen for the board when you want its widgets, and Classroom Hub for the gradebook, points, homework and class records underneath.
